Kuta , just 30 meters from the beach ,that’s where you’ll find us , Utopia .

your seafood specialist , any sort fish or shell found around Bali finds its way trough our kitchen to your plate .

we send our poor boss to Jimbaran harbor twice a day ( on his push bike ) to make sure to have the freshest fish available in Bali .

environmental page

to reduce our impact on our environment there’s some things we do , and some we don’t .

we don’t have precious rainforest furniture / bar / buffet .

we don’t do individual wrappings for jam , toothpicks , straws …. .

we don’t import  things from the other side of this planet  , beer , wine , water …

we do avoid excess laundry of tablecloths .napkins …

we only do mature fish who had the chance to reproduce .

we do use energy saving lamps

we run our partylights on used cooking oil .

we take care that if possible waste is recycled , paper , glass , leftovers .

we have shark on the menu , but we use the whole shark , the fin , we throw away symbolically , say no to shark fin soup !

staff’s page

there’s no workers  unions in Indonesia , there’s no minimum ware , there’s no working hours , you can treat your staff real bad .

not over here ! our staff is treated with respect .

we work shifts of 8 hours , we pay a nice salary , we have one day off a week , in case someone is sick , boss pays for medicine .

our kitchen is Belgian design and made , ALL stainless , separate fridges for veggies , meats , poultry , dairy , fish , …… .

All kitchen staff wears operation-room hairnets .

Smoking in kitchen results in a slow painful death .

Eat page

We are specialized in seafood , shark , bass , ray , barracuda , sweetlip , travail , parrot , crabs , squid , lobster , snapper , marquis , ……, ……, you name it , we got it

and we don’t just grill it all , you can have your favorite fish your favorite way , steamed , sautéed , pan-fried , grilled , in a banana leaf .

And , with your favorite sauce ,dill , provencale , tomato ,.

For the non seafood lovers , we also take care , we offer delicious steaks , pizzas ,chili’s  and spaghettis .

A sandwich for lunch ? can do to .

Vegetarian ? no we did not forget you , we have chili sin carne , our freakin’ healthy sandwich , … ,

Miss home cooking ?  at your request we do , beef in beer stew , mash potato/spinach – carrot , croquettes ,……. , ……….., and we bake our own brown bread .

For our wheel chair guests , we had lots of dust eating , back –and headaches , but now , we are pretty reasonable wheelchair-accessible , also the small room .
